The Isle of the Winds is the chilly, bleak, and isolated island domain of King Harold Magnus. Because of his evil acts, his bloodline suffers a curse; each year one of their number must be sacrificed, else the Isle will be swallowed by the sea. The sacrificed may rise again as undead, making the situation even bleaker. King Magnus, now an old man, lives a pitiful existence bemoaning the loss of his descendants and the situation he's in.[1]
