The skull beetle received a writeup in the netbook article Creeping Dooms in the Book of Sacrifices. Skull beetles are solitary and overly aggressive (to even the point of suicide) beetles despite their miniscule sizes. People throughout the Core dread them for their instantly fatal, poisonous bites and ability to spew acid from their mouths. Luckily, they confine themselves to moist or water-logged areas such as marshes and swamps.[3]
