High Cleric Derakoth was, and probably still is, the public face and official head of the Faith of the Overseer and its temple in Martira Bay. The reality, however, is that he is a lost one and was a thrall of Tavelia. Tavelia disappear with the the restoration of Azalin to the throne of Darkon however. 
And he is almost certainly now a thrall of Lady Kazandra.
