Reanimation is the restoration of activity to a creature, whether of full and natural activity to its existing material processes and material structures or of partial and unnatural activity to these processes and structures. A medical doctor my deliver a physical blow or an electric shock to restart the heart action. An alchemist my inject a substance to the same effect or device a substance that supersedes the need for circulation of the blood. A good cleric may restore life with an infusion of positive energy. And an evil cleric may restore a [[undeath|semblance of life] with an infusion of negative energy.
