Seradan is a tiny domain consisting of a single town and the forests and hills surrounding it. Both the town and its people are mostly boring and dreary. The people go about their business in an uneventful, almost zombie-like, daze. There is little formal law in Seradan except for surprisingly vicious mob justice against transgressors.[1]
The darklord of Seradan is Geren Horstadt. Besides Geren, two other outlanders were drawn into Seraden when it first formed. Inspector Wilhelm Braugh, the law enforcement officer who brought Geren before the mob to be killed. Braugh wanders the wilderness out of town, lost and confused but trying to discover a path back to his home town. The other is Rom, the man Geren hired to murder his family. Rom knows something of Geren's true nature, but he spends most of his time on the lamb from the people whose mannerisms seem all too similar to Geren.[1]
