The Hiregaard family owns the Borchava Duchy in the northwestern corner of Nova Vaasa. The duchy corresponds to the watersheds of the Borchava River and Vaugh Dnar River, from the Tepestian border in the west, the Darkonese border in the north, the edge of the Dyrskov ("beastwood") in the south, and up to the merging of the two rivers in the east, which is to say the Heartland Duchy of the Bolshnik Family. Liara falls then under the sway of the Hiregaards.
