Owned and operated by the physician and financier Sir James Heywood, this upscale boarding house was transformed from a former cheap tenement used by butchers. However, this is only a facade, for the place acts as a funhouse such that Heywood can nourish his demented and perverse fantasies of murder and torture.[1]
