Shadow Cloakers are a variety of Dread Cloaker, first discovered in Arak by a member of the Dark Delvers.

Like all dread cloakers, shadow cloakers are parasites. They use their host as a receptacle to drain health (Constitution points) from other creatures the host touches. Shadow cloakers are believed to have originated on the Plane of Shadow[1]

Shadow cloakers can be encountered in the following domains: Hazlan[2] and the Shadow Rift[3].

Descriptive Text

The Great King gave several beautiful black cloaks to lucky guests at the beginning of the masque, including the Marquis de Verre, with whom I danced not once, not twice, but thrice, including the closing waltz. I sense a new conquest may be made there, dear sister! In truth it was a most diverting evening, but quite a taxing one; I have not quite been myself for the last two days, and write to you from bed even now.
