Undeath is a manifestation of negative energy. Druids decry it as being the breaking of the cylce of nature, decry it as being unnatural. For undeath cheat mortal being of their destined rest in death. Undeath may even cheat immortal of their return to life. Undeath is not necessarily corporeal. Nevertheless, it consists of capacity and incapacity. It is consciousness and, in some cases, self-conciousness. Necrology studies its nature. It is the fruit of necromancy. Goodly clerics condemn it for its effects upon the soul, condemn it as being unholy. FOr druids and goodly clerics it is transgression.
