Alden was a resident of Linde and a friend of Mishya and Josef. At Mishya's insistence, the trio ambushed and beat Mishya's romantic rival Jonathan to near death. After the assault, Mishya ordered Alden and Josef to take Jon to the forest and leave him there as tribute to the goblins. Thanks to the intervention of Maeve, both Alden and Josef met their doom in most brutal fashions.[1]
