Baron Camar D’Marosso

Introduction

First introduced in the netbook article The Unauthorized Biography of the Marquis Stezen D’Polarno in the Book of Souls (Netbook) as its narrator, Baron Camar D'Marosso has been the assistant and sidekick to Marquis Stezen d'Polarno since a time before the marquis entered the Demiplane of Dread. He is a corrupt cannibal whose lust for human flesh earned him a Path of Corruption on the way to becoming a ghast. Baron D'Marrosso was later revisited in Quoth the Raven Issue 20 as already made the jump to undeath.

Background

Baron Camar D’Marosso, is the assistant and vassal of Stezen D'Polarno, having been with him since he first entered the Land of Mists. Baron D'Marroso is a skilled poisoner and has murdered many people over the years (usually using umbral gray). This plus other crimes (including cannibalism) have earned him a few failed Powers Checks, and he is slowly becoming a ghast. He does not age, so long as he he dines on the cadaver of a dead human at minimum of once per week. His touch can cause paralysis, but he is cursed to murder any whom he loves.

Later, after sometime traveling the Core first as an agent for the marquis and then left on his own by the Grand Conjunction, Baron D'Marosso was eventually able to return to Ghastria. There he found that the marquis demoted him in status and rank. Since then, the baron's loyalty has begun to waver. In addition, his corruption has brought him fully into the arms of undeath as a full ghast.
