Baroness Zorah Buchvold is a minor character from I, Strahd, The War Against Azalin and appears in Strahd's in-character narrative that comprises much of the novel's text. Baroness Zorah was the devoted wife of Baron Cazimir Latos. Strahd described her as cool-headed and cautious, the true reason for the success of Baron Latos' realm.

In 542 BC, the baroness wrote a letter to Strahd and paid the Vistani handsomely to get it to him quickly. In the letter, she described her husband's encounter with Azalin Rex and requested Strahd's help. Strahd arrived and removed the lingering amnesia of their encounter Azalin put upon the baron. After Strahd reachd an accord with Azalin, Strahd called upon Zorah to let the other Barovian nobles know of Strahd's arrangements with the outlander wizard and telling them to stay away.
