Located in al Kathos, the Burning Citadel is the residence of Malbus.

This citadel is a mockery of the one Malbus had as a warlord. Although it looks very similar, this one is in ruins and burned on the inside. Malbus is trying to refurbish the interior, but it is slow work. Whenever he seems to make progress, some accident or another undoes much of the work. Surprisingly the paintings and tapestries of Bel that he owned appear undamaged, but Malbus thinks there is something not quite right about them that he can't put his finger on.
