The Disciples are the personal soldiers of Lord Willem Ducas, the ruler and darklord of Virisa. They are recruited at birth from the first born children of every resident in the domain. As such, they are brainwashed to act with devotion to Ducan without ever questioning his decisions. They dress in midnight black chainmail armor and prefer to wield large and intimidating weapons.^[1]

Specially trained as special weapons almost from birth, they can do more than normal humans or even adventurers, though they remain men and women of flesh and blood. They attack as fighters but yet have spell-like abilities. They have also been rendered immune to mind-influencing effects and have immense strength.^[2]
