The field of military studies in the Land of Mists has a home and that is Falkovnia. It is there that military studies enjoy the sponsorship of the state. Courses may be taken and research pursued in particular at the Stangengrad Military Academy. Falkovnia's Ministry of War is also home to considerable work in this field. Outside of Falkovnia, courses may be taken and research pursued at the University of Dementlieu where Josephine Chantreaux of the Council of Brilliance has endowned the Chantreaux Chair in Military Studies. The current holder of the position is Professor Kriegsmarch, a Falkovnian defector.
