Category:Thinker

A thinker does not just experience existence as ceaseless present. He can take a step back from it to engage in thought about it and including himself or herself. A thinker is self-conscious and a moral agent. He or she is responsible for his or her own actions. Animals and vermin are not thinkers. They are conscious but they are not self-conscious. Some magical beasts, familiars in particular, are thinkers, are self-conscious, and are moral agents.
