Ernst Larnak is an NPC from the 5th Edition module Curse of Strahd. In the module, he is a greedy spy in the employ of Lady Fiona Wachter.[1]
Relationships
Ernst is prone to all of Lady Wachter's secrets and is not above using blackmail if their relationship goes south.[1]
In Curse of Strahd
At Lady Wachter's request, Larnak begins following the characters covertly and assessing their intentions and capabilities. If the PCs offend her or if she determines they are enemies of Strahd, she sends Larnak with gold to Arrigal's camp with a mission to kill the player characters once they leave town. This mission is acted upon unless the player characters have returned Arabelle to them.[2]
