Deriving from Kossuth worship practices of Hazlik's homeland of Thay, the Flaming Horse Festival is a celebration in Hazlan taking place on July 27th. During the day, male Hazlani engage in competitions of endurance, and the community at large come together for meals in the common houses. At night, each community sets its own wooden horse effigy ablaze.[1]
