Gregor Cossal

Alongside Christina Masall, Gregor Cossal was an adventurer. Together they visited, or attempted to visit, a city of deep ones under water. There they had a traumatizing encounter with a blackskate. At some point, either due to this trauma, some other trauma, or a combination of traumas, Gregor and Christina became patients at the Mikki Sanatorium in Chateaufaux, Dementlieu.[1]
The following is a text extract from one of Gregor's interviews while he was under hypnosis:
Dr. Fulviani: Can you hear me, Gregor?
Gregor Cossal: Yes.
Dr. Fulviani: Now, I want you to remember what you saw down there.
Gregor Cossal: The priest... He cast the spell to allow us to find the city... So we could breath under water...
Dr. Fulviani: What city?
Gregor Cossal: That of the deep ones.
Dr. Fulviani: Go on.
Gregor Cossal: The only light we had was provided by Christina... The water was black... The floor was littered with bones of fish... Some as big as an ox... I could see, in the ink we were swimming in, something that LOOKED like a city... Then the bones raised.
Dr. Fulviani: What do you mean?
Gregor Cossal: The bones... They moved and formed a great creature... Like the ray I used to fish in Martira Bay, with my father. Only bigger. Then... It moved with grace toward Christina... It bit her hand. The one with the light. Then It was all dark...
Dr. Fulviani: ... Let's move another topic, Gregor.[2]
