An Ivory Amulet of the Beast is an amulet carved from ivory that curses its bearer with the symptoms of afflicted lycanthropy without actually making him an afflicted lycanthrope. There is no modification to the bearer's type and others cannot be infected with lycanthropy. That specific type of animal is usually depicted on the amulet. Once donned, the amulet can only be removed with the assistance of a remove curse spell.
