Along with Deneri, Kapem was a far northwestern province of Kislova that rebelled against the rule of the Obour Family and seceded, also claiming the gold-rich region of Tygelt. This caused reprisal by Baron Janosk Obour, who invaded and annexed Denri and Kapem in the bloody Kislovan Civil War.[1]
