Katarina (Vampire)

Katarina is a vampire rumored to have avoided the corruption of undeath. The rumors go so far as to portray her keeping a Lawful Good morality despite being hundreds of years old (a Very Old Vampire in the classification of Van Richten's Guide to Vampires). Unlike normal vampires, holy symbols and holy water fail to negatively affect her, and she need not be invited to enter a home or other private place or building. This may relate to her maintaining her goodly nature.

Her appearance is distinctive in that she dresses in clothing that is all white. She can take the form of a white hummingbird instead of a bat.

The retired vampire hunter Dr. Alphonse von Henkel is known to be among those who claim to have encountered her.[1]

Vistani legends tell of a visit to Castle Ravenloft by a woman matching her description in 741 BC.

She wields a magic sword named Malik's Kiss.[2]

A locket holding her picture was stolen from Castle Avernus by a thief who died soon after.[3]
