Lech's Mountain

Somewhat misleadingly named, Lech's Mountain[1] is a tall (800 ft) but nonetheless merely a wide and stony tor that lies at the heart of Lechberg and east of the Vasha River. The precursors to the modern people of Lechberg created terraces along the tor's sides to serve as land for their residences. Today the town's main roadways meanderingly wind their way up the tor, though steep stairways enable quicker foot traffic.

Back in the (likely false) history of Dorvinia some 600 years from the time of Gazetteer IV (roughly 157 BC), there was originally only a small monastery to Andral here. The merchant-prince Lech Cosco took over the tor and named it Lech's Mountain. He converted the old monastery into his own personal fortress. Today his fortress is known as the Golden Palace.
