Liturgicant Jonathan Cadderly

Liturgicant Jonathan Cadderly is the darklord of Charity Cove. He was a priest and adviser to the Chief of Charity Cove. However, he also transgressed against his theology by secretly holding an affair with a married woman named Margaret. However, their tryst was eventually discovered (or rather, it was discovered she had a tryst) when Margaret became pregnant. She was to be branded an outcast and ostracized for the rest of her days. Overtake by anger and shame, Cadderly opened the dam and flooded the town. By the time he came to his senses as to the sin he was committing, it was too late, almost everyone was dead

For a time, Cadderly pathetically wanders his domain grieving. He is forced to witness the events of his fall over and over again as the ghosts recreate those last horrible moments. So distraught is Cadderly that he lets himself die of starvation and hypothermia. He does not rest easily, rising as the foul undead spirit known only as the Reverend.

Jon Cadderly carries the Finger of the Marble Lord, a magic sickle given to him by the Dark Powers.
