Louis Giroume was an actor and entertainer from Dementlieu. After he snubbed The Countess de Hautpoissant's advances, she ordered her manservants to kill him. Following his death, Louis came back as a revenant and slew the Countess along with her servants. Following her death, he should have been able to go to his final rest.[1]
However, Louis found that he could not pass on. Confused, he tried to resume his old life, only interrupted by his own wrathful undead nature, forcing him to flee. Since then, he has wandered, trying to enjoy fleeting dalliances with high society. However, they can only last so long before the illusionary facade that masks his true nature is broken, causing him to go on a rampage.[2]
