Parriwimple

Bildrath is an NPC from the 1st Edition module Ravenloft I6 and its later edition reboots. He is a resident of the Village of Barovia and works for his uncle Bildrath at Bildrath's Mercantile as a stock boy and, if need be, a guard. Although simple-minded, he has a very muscular physique that hints at his physical prowess.

According to Domains of Dread, the module I6 takes place in year 528 BC. Thus, Bildrath is likely to be deceased in the modern Ravenloft timeline.

In House of Strahd

In this revised version of I6, Parriwimple is more bark than bite, a mere 5th level fighter vs. the 9th level fighter in other versions of the Ravenloft module.

In Fair Barovia

Parriwhimple (real nameL Parpol Cantemir) is much more apt to helping with the investigation and fighting of monsters than in other modules, thanks to Bray Martikova's positive influence. In fact, Parriwhimple is part of the local militia and is even Bray's right hand lieutenant.

In Curse of Strahd

Parriwimple is not his real name. It is Parpol Cantemir If he is revealed to be Strahd's Enemy by the reading of the Fortunes of Ravenloft, he can be recruited by player characters appealing to the Good in his heart. However, Bildreth will not willingly let him leave.
