A vampire who wants to avoid attention can, instead of permanently draining Constitution points, can engage in shallow feeding of blood and only inflict temporary ability damage. However, said vampire must take two times the number of Con points as normal. The White Fever of Valachan is an example of this practiced on a very wide scale.[1]
