Shantytown {pop 3,000} is a "town" (in the loosest sense of the word) within Monadhan. As with elsewhere in that domain, the town populated mostly by betrayers and traitors. As such, there is no true infrastructure in this community of ramshackle huts and tents. Most people live byeking out meager existences of self-sustenance in the forest and water nearest in proximity to Shantytown.[1]
The only form of "formal" social organization is that of the various warring gangs that keep the power balance of Shantytown forever in flux. Those whom (for however temporarily) dominate the Monadhan Outpost in theory dominates the town, though the dissolute nature of Monadhan society makes it implausible to achieve. Currently rule of the Outpost is ruled by Pelnur Gatesfist.[1]
