The Sun Puma (Haloe-Tsuu[1] is the chief deity of the Cult of the Sun Puma.[2] He is of Neutral Good alignment.[3] See Cult of the Sun Puma for other stats.

At first he was known as Haloe (simply Puma), the guardian of hunters and the spirit with dominion over fire and earth-bound creatures.[4] When Kananciwe plucked the golden feathers from the miserly Vulture King's headdress, they sparked into a bonfire and lit up the sky. As flames, Puma claimed dominion over them and became Haloe-Tsuu. But the light blinded Kanaciwe, and this lapse in attention allowed the Vulture King to kill him. For this treason, the Sun Puma cursed the Vulture King to be burned by the suns rays. The Vulture King in return cursed the Sun Puma, causing him to lose some control over the sun and have it hang in the skies forevermore.[5]
