The Upsurge spell was utilized by Sandra Highgarden in defense of the Borcan hamlet of Chiara against the Whistling Fiend. It unleashes a massive amount of nature's energy to blast a fey, elemental, or outsider with the Good or Evil subtypes and disrupt their connections to the land. It cannot affect darklords, creatures with the Mists subtype, or Outsiders that lack reality wrinkles.[1]
