In Curse of Strahd, Varushka was a servant of Strahd that committed suicide when Strahd started to feed upon her blood. Her tortured spirit lingers on after a fashion, not so much a real ghost but rather an illusory manifestation haunting the bath chambers of K43 in Castle Ravenloft.[1]
