Verity DuClerk was the daughter of Horace DuClerk and fiancé of Dr. Cyrus Vannen. Well adept at playing the piano, Verity sacrificed the pursuit of that to lend her able hands to Dr. Vannen's fight against a plague known as the Rot until it claimed her life. Dr. Vannen created her a body of new parts to replace those hit by the Rot, but he mostly managed to create a dread flesh golem known as the Aggregate. Now Verity's personality is just one of many that inhabits the broken mind of the Aggregate, where her personality remains trapped so long the Aggregate keeps her hands.[1]
