AWISE FWOM YOUR GWAVE...

[Actually, mods, should I have just started a fresh thread? If so, let me know and I'll do so in the future]

After a couple of months of distractions ranging from pretty good (learning more cooking!) to pretty bad (the car needs to have its transmission rebuilt!), I finally updated the site to include my current Denizens of Ravenloft pieces:

http://webs.lanset.com/brandiweed/Ravenloft/Denizens/

Hopefully I won't take so long next time...

Some fantastic work there, Brandi. I love Soth and Hazlik particularly. I wonder if there's a way to "fill in" the gaps between Hazlik's tattoos to smooth them out. Perhaps with several coats of paint? I dunno, I'm a bit of a novice, so it may not be possible.

Very cool work, Brandi.

Expect some links to it from the mini updated file.

I suppose I could've used a bit of the acrylic paste I use for some shallow gap-filling, but sometimes that stuff gets a bit lumpy (I'd also be worried about obliterating the chain of his pendant).

Usually, once a figure's done it's done. It's not that I can't look back (although it makes a nice way to track my progress), but I still have a considerable quantity of Ravenloft pieces to work on...!

Oh, I didn't mean you should change it. It looks great. I'm just thinking ahead to when I: a) finally track down the set and b) have time to sit down and paint.

Maybe when I retire, there will be a spare moment or two...
