The Wailing Stone is a rock formation and tomb[1] on the eastern border of Craven Cove, to the east of the town of Widow's Peak.[2] It is commonly thought to wail whenever somebody in Widow's Peak perishes. This belief is partially correct - it is not the Wailing Stone itself that screams but rather Aurelia, the banshee that haunts the tomb she's buried in.[3] The reverberations of her screams can be heard all the wa back in Widow's Peak.[4]
