Purportedly the creation of the genocidial necromancer Kerakin, archer skeletons are animated skeletal bowmen. Knowledge of their creation has spread such that they can be found in varying numbers in the service of a variety of malignant creatures. Azalin Rex reportedly controls a vast amount of them.[1]
Encountering Archer Skeletons
In the Shadow Rift, archer skeletons can be encountered in the Darkenheights as part of the saugh.[2] As undead, can be encountered in Barovia[3][4], Darkon[5][6], Har'Akir[7][8], Mordent[9][10], Sanguinia[11], Sithicus[12][13], Souragne,[14] and Valachan[15][16] As undead, archer skeletons could be encountered in Gundarak prior to its dissolution. [17] As undead that do not feed, archer skeletons can be encountered in Keening. [18][19]
