Kraikus was the cruel and greedy treasurer and tax collector of Nartok. He met his end at the hands of the Spirits of the Bell, whom were called by Wort. Ironically, it was a gold coin that Wort used to conjured the spirits.[1] At the end of Tower of Doom, the Bell's destruction caused Kraikus and the rest of the people killed by the Bell's ghosts to reanimate as zombies and seek revenge against Wort, tearing him apart as as they all went plunging over Morrged's Leap in Caidin's Tower of Doom[2]
