Nirguna Moon

Although most foreigners believe that Sri Raji has no moon, Rajians know that their moon is a nirguna (formless) moon. Although it is invisible to the naked eye, its position may be discerned by observing which stars it obscures. Also, it hurts to stare at the nirguna moon, regardless of its invisibility.[1]

The three nights of the "new moon" (as determined by astronomical calculations and/or how badly it hurts to stare at the nirguna moon) are the three days that sacrifices are sent to Maharaja Arijani every month.[1]
