Located in the city of Meyersville in Conquista, la Torre del Conocimiento Sagrado is a former research facility built by the original Viejos Sagrados. After that organization was shut down, la Torre was converted into a university. La Torre is first mentioned in Quoth the Raven Issue 30, in the Conquista Gazetteer.
Education
While la Torre is but half the size of rival college la Universidad de la Conquista, it is a place where curiosity and the drive to learn are celebrated, and teachers and students alike participate in research to push back the limits of knowledge. Visiting scholars are welcomed - unusually for Conquista, even foreigners.
Colleges
Only one department is specifically named in the Conquista Gazetteer: the Department of Folklore. Head of Department: Professor Jean Ambrose.
The fact that Malik Lenkherr is mentioned to have studied the subjects at la Torre implies there must be one or several Departments concerned with Politics and Diplomacy.
Rivalry
In the estimation of the scholar Ciska, la Torre would eclipse la Universidad's reputation if not for the elder college's consistent efforts to smear and downplay the work being done there. There is no indication that la Torre reciprocates this animosity in any way. Whether this is due to a more noble mindset or because the faculty is too focused on actually doing its work of educating eager young minds and conducting research is unknown.
Students
Known graduates of la Torre include Malik Lenkherr.
Dangers
La Officía del recuerdo is mentioned as keeping an eye on la Torre, and actively recruits any graduates that meet its requirements. Consequently, any graduate who is invited but refuses to join the clandestine government organization is likely to be assassinated and 'disappeared'.
