Geography
Xi'anlin is an Island of Terror 150 miles in length and 100 miles in width. It is a realm comprised mostly of mountain, but periodic lakes, hills, pine and bamboo forests, and villages periodically dot the landscape. The terrain smoothly blends together as if no transition is out of place.[2] One of these forests, Sanzhou Grove, was later remade its own domain.[6]
Society and Culture
The people of Xi'anlin tend to be a hardworking, peaceful sort. Most of them are farmers, fishers, and craftsmen. Elves, half-elves, and dwarves are known in this realm but not feared as in other lands. Magic is not a feared phenomena but rather seen as more of a distraction whereas war is abhorred.[2]
Religion is the common link between the people of Xi'anlin. The people follow a naturalistic faith that emphasizes the importance of humanity's balance with nature as mediated by nature spirits.[1]
Xi'anlin was created by Dion Fernandez and introduced in the Midway Haven netbook Navigaccio.

- 555 BC (Approx.) - Several travelers, including a man named Bei Xu, are snowed in at Daoming, so they retire to the local inn. These tragic events the Mists to claim Xi'anlin as their own.[3]
