Crumble or flog is a whiskey made from apples and is responsible for very bad hangovers. The stuff is served in tiny wooden cups and indeed must not be served in metal cups for it reacts with impurities in metal and arsenic compounds consequently poison the drink. It is known as crumble in Mordent and flog in Darkon's Vale of Tears region. [1] It's likely that the drink originated in Mordent and was introduced into the Vale of Tears when a Mordentish brewer was claimed by Darkon.
