Worgs are preternaturally strong, tough, and cunning wolves.[1] They are common in Barovia[2][3][4] and they are far from unknown in other lands, including Falkovnia[5], Forlorn[6], Invidia[7], Mordent[8] and Avonleigh.[9]. Goblins in Darkon and Tepest may use them as mounts. The worg is one of at least two species referred to by lay persons in the southern core as Barovian wolves. The worg may be an instance of a goblin beast.[10].
