Centuries ago Persarval Hiregaard is supposed to have seized the Cat’s Pawfrom cat cultists who had themselves acquired it following its loss by the paka. Yorgi Hiregaard rediscovered the device in the secret compartment of a wardrobe and made use of it during his youthful adventures until he was attacked by paka.
