Arkson is a small, mountainous floating pocket ]domain consisting of Mount Highmore, two cities, and the surrounding terrains that are mostly forest. One of the cities is above ground (called Over-Arkson). The other city lies right below it and is called Under-Arkson.[1] The people of Over-Arkson are mostly surface-dwelling dwarves initially drawn from various outlander worlds. Under-Arkson is populated by the various evil, traditionally Underdark dwelling dwarven offshoots such as duergar and derro. Regardless of dwarven subrace, the majority of the residents venerate Vergadain, the dwarven god of greed.[2]
