Led by Lady Kazandra, they are mortal followers of the Kargat, scattered throughout Darkon.
When Darkon was "destroyed" in The Requiem, Kazandra led a contingent of Kargatane in The Shadowfell.[1] It is not clear how they returned to Darkon when Azalin returned.[2]
