- 180 BC: Jacques Renier brings his family to Mordent and takes leadership of the then hamlet of Mordentshire. After bringing commerce and prosperity, he eventually builds Gryphon Manor. Even later, the Reniers lose their influence on the town to newly arriving noble families.[1]
- 654 BC Claude Renier, patriarch of the Reniers, is born.[2]
- 659 BC Isabella Museau, matriarch of the Reniers, is born.[2]
- 677 BC Henri Milette, future husband of Anais Renier and not a wererat, is born.[2]
- 681 BC Simon Audiare, future husband of Marie Renier, is born.[2]
- 681 BC Anais Renier is born to Claude Renier and Isabella Museau.[2]

- 743 BC Girard Cavaillon tries to make an under-the-table agreement with the Falkovnian Army to overthrow Jacqueline Renier. Jacqueline establishes a direct communication with Vlad Drakov as a counter offer with some unknown incentive plus a favored consort of Cavaillon.[12]
