A cadaver is a dead humanoid body, a humanoid body from which the life has fled in the not distant past, which is to stipulate that the body needs to be more than skeletal. Cadavers are much sought after by university medical departments, medical researchers, necromancers, and flesh golemcrafters, as well as by ghouls. A corpse may walk again by being granted unlife. Generally, the flesh of a corpse granted unlife as a zombie or other walking undead ceases to disintegrate, such that the creature does not, in the end, resemble a skeleton.
