- 575 BC Arak (Domain) forms as the shadow fey escape the Plane of Shadow and Gwydion is locked in the Obsidian Gate.
- 588 BC Loht commands the staking Tristessa and her baby to Mount Lament and leaves them to die in the sun. Tristessa screams a dying curse, bringing about the Scourge of Arak. Keening forms.[11]
- 743 BC Unwald Rottennail's Invasion A force of Darkonians marches upon Keening with intent on wiping out Marbh-Cathair. They are all massacred save for Unwald Rottennail. He goes mad and takes up residence in Marbh-Cathair.[12]
- 751 BC Loht meets with Tristessa at the Temple of Lolth, deceptively exchanging the Eye of Vhaeraun for the Sword of Arak.[13]
