Ukhu Pacha is an Island of Terror occupied by an invader from afar seeking to purge the old ways and replacement with with the new.[4] Whereas the natives of this land have long venerated their departed ancestors, Governor Guenevira Blanco, would have that old system rot away and be replaced with the worship of the Divine Child.[2] She has led the invaders and captured the capital city, T’chaco.[5] Yet the young King Hualatelpec has fled to Cuchoaya, where he sits safely ensconced (perhaps forever) outside the reach of Govern Blanco.[6] In the meantime, Governor Blanco has managed to wipe out many mummies as she chan, forcing ancestor worship to be attended only in secret. Those who are spotted violating these laws are sent off to labor camps.[5]
Publication History
Ukhu Pacha was first presented (with 3rd Edition rules) in the netbook Nebula Obscura. As presented here, the domain had explicit connections to Ryan Naylor's Holy Empire. Ukhu Pacha was later revised and changed into 4th Edition terms in Worlds of Ravenloft and made with fewer such references.
