A Bloody Canvas

A short, 2nd Edition module included in Henri Milton's chapter in Children of the Night: Werebeasts.

Synopsis: In Pont-a-Museau, a madman attacks the player characters in the streets. Defeating the madman reveals the attacker is normally a harmless and benevolent philanthropist named Ghorman. After dealing with the social fallout, further investigation of the source of madness leads back to an art gallery including artwork by both Henri Milton and Boris Stanielle. The player characters encounter Stanielle at the gallery, whom directs them to inspect the home of Henri Milton. At Milton's home and art studio, the party discovers the madness inducing paintings and confronts Milton. In the ensuing conflict, Milton is mortally wounded and sets his paintings ablaze. The fire quickly spreads to the rest of his house. Stanielle arrives at Milton's home, and dashes into the blaze to save Picalinni's Palette only to be consumed in the blaze.
