Alec's harpies are another race of unnaturally created abominations made by Alec Lawrence and the Brotherhood of Mortis. Unlike real harpies (which [[Alec doesn't know exists), Alec's harpies can only attack with a bite, and their singing causes fear instead of the usual enthrallment. The harpy is created from the body of a human (preserved via an embalm spell) and a bat (made large enough via the enlarge spell), injected with a regenerative virus, and then made animate with electrical stimulation.^[1]

Inspiration

The Brotherhood of Mortis and related entities were inspired by the Playstation 1 Video Game Nightmare Creatures by Activision/Kalisto.^[2]
